When thunder storms will hit Leeds over next seven days – the risk and weather forecast assessed



After scorching temperatures during the heatwave, the mercury has finally dropped giving people some much needed relief after a spell of blisteringly hot weather.

And with the end of the heatwave comes the likelihood of rain as well as thunder and lightning with Net Weather predicting the likelihood of storms over the next seven days in Leeds.

The Met Office says temperatures will stay around the 20C mark with lows of 19C on Thursday, July 29.

The weekend will be cloudy with little hope of sunshine although some rays could peek through the clouds on Monday, July 26.
