Waitress at Leeds Grand Theatre cast, shows and how to buy tickets

Smash-hit musical Waitress will serve up Sara Bareilles amazing score with an all-star cast at Leeds Grand Theatre this week.

The musical comedy will run from Tuesday September 14 to Saturday September 18 with tickets still available for the seven-show run.

Waitress shines a light on Jenna, a waitress and expert pie-maker dreaming of happiness.

When a hot new doctor arrives in town, things get a little complicated – but with the support of her workmates Becky and Dawn, Jenna overcomes the challenges she faces and finds that laughter, love, and friendship can provide the perfect recipe for happiness.

The tour stars Lucie Jones as Jenna, Emmerdale’s Sandra Marvin as Becky, Evelyn Hoskins as Dawn and Busted’s own Matt Willis as Dr Pomatter.

Covid safety measures at the theatre

The Grand has put in a range of measures to help keep audiences safe, including additional cleaning, hand sanitiser stations and an in-seat refreshment service.

Guest have been asked to:

  • Not visit the Grand if you have any Covid-19 symptoms
  • Book tickets online and use contactless payments in the theatre
  • Don’t arrive at the Grand any earlier than 30 minutes before the show – and don’t congregate at the stage door before or after a show
  • Wear a mask or face covering unless eating or drinking
  • Wash your hands regularly
