A ‘pregnant’ woman who fell to her death at Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh had allegedly celebrated her wedding reception just days before the ‘suspicious’ incident.
Fawziyah Javed, who worked at Lyons Davidson Solicitors in Leeds, is understood to have been on her honeymoon in Scotland’s capital when she was involved in the tragic incident at around 9pm yesterday (Thurs), the Daily Record reports.
Police, paramedics and fire crews rushed to the scene in Holyrood Park but, tragically, the 31-year-old could not be saved.

A source told the Daily Record how the young woman was heavily involved in charity work before getting married towards the end of 2020.
The same source also claimed Fawziyah, from West Yorkshire, was thought to be in the early stages of a pregnancy before her tragic death.
It is understood she celebrated her wedding reception with loved ones in the region on Sunday before travelling to Scotland by train at the start of the week.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police were reportedly seen searching a property in Pudsey today (Fri). The operation is believed to be connected to the fatal fall.

Police Scotland have confirmed a 27-year-old man has been arrested as part of their enquiries.
A force spokesperson said: “We received a report that a woman had fallen from Arthur’s Seat, Edinburgh, around 9pm on Thursday, 2 September.
“Emergency services attended including the fire service and ambulance.
“The 31-year-old woman died at the scene a short time later and her death is being treated as suspicious.
“A 27-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
