Police hunting man after woman sexually assaulted in Leeds Kirkgate Market toilets


West Yorkshire Police are hunting for a suspect after a woman was sexually assaulted in public toilets at Leeds Kirkgate Market.

The victim, a woman in her 20s, reported that she was assaulted in the public toilets at the market just before 5pm on Saturday August 14.

Police have released CCTV images of a suspect they are looking for in relation to the attack.

The man pictured is shown to have a balding head with dark hair and beard. He is also shown to be wearing a grey jumper, black jeans, white trainers and a rucksack.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “Detectives investigating a sexual assault on woman in Leeds Kirkgate Market have released CCTV images of a suspect.

“The victim, aged in her twenties, reported being assaulted in public toilets at the market shortly before 5pm on August 14.”
