Patrick Bamford: Leeds striker ‘always believed’ England senior call would come

Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford “always believed” his first England senior call-up would come – and “would not give up” on it until he retired.

Bamford, 27, has been included in Gareth Southgate’s squad for September’s 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Hungary, Andorra and Poland.
