If you love Channel 5’s Our Yorkshire Farm then you’ll want to go to a special event Amanda Owen is hosting in Leeds.
Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen, 47, has earned an army of fans during her appearances in the reality TV show Our Yorkshire Farm. During the Leeds Town Hall event, Amanda, will share tales and anecdotes from her farming life in North Yorkshire.
Adventures of the Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen will be taking place on Friday, October 8.
A spokesperson for the event said: “We’ll hear how Amanda grew up in Huddersfield but was inspired by James Herriot’s books to leave her town life behind and head to the countryside.
“After working as a freelance dairy milker and alpaca shearer, she eventually settled down as a shepherdess at Ravenseat, one of the highest and most remote places in England, where she’s raised a flock of 1000 sheep and a family of nine children with husband Clive.”

During the talk, the audience will be treated to some of the eye-catching photography Amanda has captured down the years during the highs and lows of remote family farming life.
