The first half saw goals for both sides. Raphinha opened the scoring with a long-range, curling, cross-cum-shot which went through several bodies and all the way into Karl Darlow’s net.
The hosts recovered well from that and ultimately Allan Saint-Maximin made his danger count and scored the equaliser late on. The French forward carried the home threat all night with his tricky dribbling.
No more goals came in the second half as the wait continues for that first league win of the season.
