Police have shut a road in Leeds tonight as emergency services scramble to the scene of a ‘serious incident’.
Firefighters, paramedics and officers from West Yorkshire Police have all raced to Rookwood Road in Osmondthorpe.
The reason for the huge emergency services response has not yet been confirmed, however reports suggest a car ‘travelling at speed’ has collided with other vehicles in the road.

Several fire engines have been pictured at the scene as well as numerous police vehicles. Yorkshire Ambulance Service has also been pictured in the street, which can be found east of Leeds city centre.
