Police have closed a main road in Leeds in both directions following what has been reported as a “serious road traffic accident”.
Aberford Road in the Woodlesford area has reportedly been closed in both directions and police and ambulance services are at the scene.

There is heavy traffic in the area and diversions are in place.
It appears from the pictures that the incident has happened close to the railway bridge on the road.
