Leeds United have been active in the transfer market already, recruiting three highly-rated teenagers for their under-23 side and signing Junior Firpo and Jack Harrison for the first-team.
However, they are seemingly keen to get more deals over the line before the beginning of the 2021/22 Premier League season on 14 August.
At this time of year, rumours constantly swirl and few clubs can escape the headlines but Leeds appear to have genuine intent in the window.
Here are some of the rumours to have emerged in the media over the last 24 hours.
Leeds monitoring Serie A defender
According to SampNews24, Leeds are one of three Premier League clubs monitoring Sampdoria defender Omar Colley.
The Gambia international, who is a teammate of former Whites midfielder Ronaldo Vieira, has been linked with West Ham United and Newcastle United but Leeds are also said to be keen.
Leeds are relatively well-stocked at centre-back but did find themselves short when injuries struck last season and may wish to add another option to the squad.
Young goalkeeper set to fly out for medical
Leeds have been hot on the heels of Valerenga goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson for a considerable period of time now but are seemingly edging closer to securing his signature.
The 20-year-old stopper is flying out to England next week to undergo a medical, according to The Athletic.
Leeds have been keen to bolster their ranks with another goalkeeper after Kiko Casilla left to join Elche on loan.
Leeds interested in signing another Chelsea midfielder
After landing Lewis Bate from Chelsea on a permanent deal, Leeds are reportedly interested in raiding the Blues for another midfielder.
According to sister site football.london, Leeds have already held talks with Conor Gallagher over a potential loan switch but face competition from Crystal Palace.
The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion and stood out despite being unable to prevent the Baggies being relegated.
