Leeds United have just three days of the summer transfer window to make anymore new additions to their squad.
It has been a relatively quiet window for the Whites so far with just Junior Firpo and Kristoffer Klaesson coming in as new additions, while Jack Harrison has also made his move to Elland Road a permanent one.
Leeds had been thought to be keen on adding a new central midfielder and winger to their squad this summer, but with time of the essence and Bielsa satisfied with the squad. it remains to be seen whether Leeds make any late market moves.
But with the window still open, here are some of the transfer rumours that have emerged over the last 24 hours.
Warburton dismisses Dickie rumours
Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Warburton has rubbished claims that Rob Dickie could make a late window move to Leeds United.
Leeds have been briefly linked with a move for Dickie this summer, who has already scored four goals in six matches in all competitions this season.
But any claims that his star man could depart West London in the last few days of the window have been furiously denied by the R’s boss.
Warburton said: “You’re seeing journalists saying Newcastle, Leeds, Wolves all going in for our players.
“Nonsense. Absolute nonsense,” he told West London Sport.
“But they seem to get away with it week on week and stories then generate from their false stories in the first place.
“They have a responsibility to get some facts. The stories are just nonsensical, and the fans read it and react to it.
“I get the game. I get the content requirement. But sometimes a bit of truth and fact would help the matter.
“Clubs put valuations on players that they think are appropriate – hence my frustration when you see journalists banding around numbers which are bizarre.”
Leeds O’Brien pursuit ended
Leeds United have ended their pursuit of Huddersfield Town midfielder Lewis O’Brien, according to Football Insider.
The Whites had made O’Brien their first-choice midfield target this summer following the failed attempts at a move for Conor Gallagher but a move for the 22-year now appears over.
Leeds have reportedly seen a number of bids rejected for O’Brien, with the two West Yorkshire clubs believed to be around £4m apart in valuation.
Instead, Bielsa will now turn his attention towards reintegrating Adam Forshaw into a regular first team player following his two-year injury absence.
Costa could still depart
Leeds United winger Helder Costa could still depart the club this summer with question marks surrounding his form, according The Athletic.
Costa has struggled to find any sort of form since he was dropped from the side in place of Raphinha last year.
Leeds have reportedly been in the hunt for a new winger this summer and should one join the club before Tuesday’s deadline, the 27-year-old’s days at Elland Road could be numbered.
Speaking on the Phil Hay Show, it was suggested Costa’s future remains uncertain due to his recent struggles
He said: “I think around the fringes, there are still question marks over people and I think [of] Costa, in particular.
“The suggestion that at some stage Leeds might go for another winger, I think is justified by Costa’s form at the moment.”
