Richie Myler: Made some important interventions throughout in defence and showed why he is regarded as one of the best support players around by being in the right place to score Leeds Rhinos’ crucial second try. 7.5

Luke Briscoe: Responded positively to a harsh first-half yellow card with a strong showing. 7.5

Harry Newman: No opportunities to speak of in good ball but was part of a backline that forced Wigan Warriors to kick in behind time after time. 7

Tom Briscoe: A typical Tom Briscoe performance as he ran his blood to water to help get his team on the front foot. 7.5

Ash Handley: Showed his commitment to the cause by shrugging off a groin issue to captain the team and led from the front with some big defensive efforts. 7

Rob Lui: The experienced half-back appears determined to leave the Rhinos on a high, playing a key role in Myler’s try with the killer pass for Rhyse Martin in another influential display. 7.5

Kruise Leeming: Laid on the only try of the first half with a clever kick against a post and brought Leeds to life whenever he got his hands on the ball. 8

Bodene Thompson: It is impossible to replace Mikolaj Oledzki’s workload but Richard Agar knows he will get a couple of no-nonsense spells out of Thompson. 6

Brad Dwyer: Kept relatively quiet around the ruck but finished a set play to open the scoring and buzzed around throughout his time on the field. 7

Matt Prior: Back in the side and his presence certainly lifted his team-mates. 7

Morgan Gannon: Made an early break and went on to win his mouthwatering clash with John Bateman convincingly. 7.5

Rhyse Martin: Nightmare start when he sent the kick-off out on the full but he put that behind him to play an important role in a big win, laying on Myler’s try on the back of a break. 7.5

Zane Tetevano: Got away with a shot to the head in the first minute before seeing yellow in soft circumstances. Tough and aggressive but pushes the line too much at times. 7


Tom Holroyd: Another strong stint off the bench from the ever-improving youngster. 7

Cameron Smith: Leeds always look better in attack with Smith on the field, with the 22-year-old among the Rhinos’ top performers again on Wednesday night. 7.5

King Vuniyayawa: He may be on his way at the end of the year but his commitment cannot be in doubt. 6

James Donaldson: Did not get big minutes but played his part with an energetic performance off the bench. 6
