Jet 2 see huge surge in bookings to green and amber list countries



Leeds based airline operator Jet 2 has announced a huge surge in holiday bookings for green and amber list countries.

Data from Jet2.com and Jet2holidays shows that Summer 21 bookings to green and amber travel destinations have increased more than 250 percent.

Customers are looking to make the most of being able to be enjoying the summer in the sunshine.

After the announcement that fully vaccinated customers can now fly to over 40 quarantine-free destinations this summer, Jet 2 restarted flights and holidays to all amber list destinations from July 19.

It includes holidays to sunshine spots across the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Mainland Spain, Malta, Croatia, Greece and Cyprus.
