Emmerdale viewers spot huge blunder during shock confession

Emmerdale fans spotted a huge blunder during tonight’s episode when a major confession was made.

As viewers of Emmerdale know, David Metcalfe, played by Matthew Wolfenden, was shot during a gun siege. The character has since been in hospital fighting for his life.

David was shot by Wendy Posner’s abusive ex Russ as he took a bullet for Victoria Sugden. Tonight, Wendy confessed about her criminal past to Bob Hope – blaming herself for what happened to David.

As reported by our colleagues at the Liverpool Echo, Wendy is not a qualified nurse and handed her resignation to doctor Liam Cavanagh, fearing she’d be exposed.

Fans know, Wendy spent time in jail following a drug dealing charge. She’s tried to start again but Russ’ appearance has put Wendy on edge.

However, Emmerdale viewers don’t think Wendy could have successfully pretended to be a nurse.

On Twitter, one viewer said: “How did nobody ever check all these years that she was actually a nurse?”
