Leeds United’s under-23s side get their Premier League 2 Division One campaign underway this evening when they visit Crystal Palace.
Mark Jackson’s side swept aside all in front of them last season as they surged to the PL2 Division Two title and will now get the opportunity to go up against the country’s biggest and best academies.
It all starts with a trip to Selhurst Park to take on the Eagles, who also won promotion from the second tier last season.
New signings Amari Miller, Sean McGurk and Lewis Bate will all be hoping to feature after being brought in to strengthen the club’s under-23s ranks this summer.
Goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson could also make a first appearance in a Leeds shirt, while Adam Forshaw could also be involved as he continues his injury return.
