Since Leeds United were promoted to the Premier League in July 2020, they have made considerable investment to strengthen their squad.
Last summer, Raphinha, Diego Llorente and Rodrigo all arrived for substantial fees which showed the ambition of what the Whites wanted to achieve in their first season back in the top-flight for 16 years.
Although they made no further additions in the winter window, Leeds had already made their marker with the quality that they brought in ahead of the campaign.
They went on to finish in ninth position, above the likes Everton, Aston Villa and Wolves and were lauded for adopting a unique brand of football to the division.

An experienced Chile international, Pulgar remains at Fiorentina despite interest from the Whites and is heading into his third season at the club, having made 75 appearances in total.

The 27-year-old was heavily linked with a move away from Udinese and finally departed the Italian side in July as he signed a five-year deal with Atletico Madrid just days after winning the Copa America.
After a much-improved second season at Wolves, Leeds were targeting the Spaniard last term, but he is still at the West Midlands outfit and has played in their opening two league matches. However, Tottenham are reportedly in talks to sign Traore on loan from Wolves with a view to a £40million permanent deal.
Vasquez initially broke through from Real Madrid’s B team in 2015 and has been a key member of their side ever since, appearing 242 times in all competitions, but at 30 years of age, he could still leave the club this month.
One of the more ambitious transfer rumours, the Whites were linked with the talented German but haven’t been able to finalise a deal and he is set to stay at Paris Saint-Germain for a fifth season.
Following a terrific end to the campaign with Arsenal, Martinez was touted to replace Kiko Casilla as Leeds’ new goalkeeper, but he chose to join Aston Villa instead.
