Thousands of students have descended on Leeds for the start of Freshers’ Week.
For many, the boozy nights out mark the start of an exciting adventure with students keen to make new friends and bond with flat mates.
And with Covid restrictions now significantly eased, heading back to university will mean a return to clubbing for those who missed out last year due to the pandemic.

Excitable students have been pictured posing for the camera this week as they paraded around the city’s streets.
Some were snapped swigging booze as they waited in line for bars, while others were seen looking rather worse for wear in the early hours following a heavy night.
